Stanford Clinical and Translational Research Program

The program is designed to enhance the recruitment of underrepresented trainees into
residency programs. Underrepresented minority (URM) participants, who are applying
for residency programs beginning in 2011, are especially encouraged to apply.

 

 

Program Components:
• Mentorship from outstanding Stanford Faculty
• Full financial support during the sub-internship including travel costs
• Sub-internship of Scholar’s choice
• Participation in special programs
• Optional one-week course in clinical research (Sept. 13-18, 2010)
Application Submission Process:
1) application form;
2) brief 1-page personal statement describing their interest in the program and
their plans for an academic career;
3) CV
4) two (2) letters of reference, one (1) of which should be from a current mentor.

Deadline for applications is April 30, 2010 and notifications will be made by May
30th.
